Monty became a Champion at the Elm City Kennel Club
Show in Hartford, CT
held at the Civic Center on February 15 2003 a day
before his 2 year old birthday.
Monty and I are with the Judge Gwen Wexler.
To earn the 15 points needed to make Monty a
champion,
It took us 17 months, 42 Shows, 5,962 Miles, in 8
New England & Mid-Atlantic States, 74 Awards.
| To make Monty, a champion I needed a total of 15
points within the 15 points you need two majors. Two majors
consists of winning with a minimum of 5 dogs entered and showing up
the day of a given show which equals 3 points. For bitches it
is a little harder because their are more bitches vs. dogs (See
Dachshund point schedule below)
