To enter a show in juniors you will need a junior number and your dog must be 6 months.   All information of how to apply for a Junior Handler number or register your dog is available at the AKC website.

 To find a show that is convenient for you.  I would suggest looking up the show schedule by state on infodog.com. You must sign up for a show and cannot just show up and expect to enter.  The closing date will tell you when entries will no longer be excepted.  You can also enter through the mail.  

You can choose a show and view the date, location and the judging panel of the show.  Also, some shows have special competition such as Best Veteran’s, Variety, or Best Puppy. 

You can enter in junior’s competition and/or the breed competition.  You will need your dog’s AKC number and your Junior Handler number to register for a competition.  You will then get a confirmation in the mail along with................
